The Kitchen Garden – Flowers, Vegetables and Quotes
“To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson, The Mind’s Eye: Writings on Photography and Photographers

As photographer, through the lens of the camera, you can focus and are in the position of the priviledged spectator about what a mighty, wondrous nature can do every moment. Have you ever asked yourself about how many moments natural life is made of and how many of those you can live?

Questions call to other greater questions and for us, small human beings, wrapped up in our everyday, ordinary, busy life, there is very little space to ponder. We only catch the perception of what time can be. Our human dimension runs parallel to the course of natural life. But, if we think about it, even for a moment, and hold our breath, maybe we can even grasp the meaning of the miracle of life.
