One more book as a suggestion for this weekend.
I have always enjoyed spending time in bookstores, having a dip in the choice of readings both in Italian and in foreign languages. Last Christmas, I chose to give “Spera”, the autobiography of Papa Francesco, as present to my Mom, who loves reading about history and biographies.
These days I took the opportunity to borrow her gift. It is a truly compelling reading, written with humility, which overwhelms and transports the reader to the end of the book, opening up to unexpected perspectives, where the past joins the present, bringing to the foreground themes that are so current today, inducing reflection on what humanity is experiencing right in this very particular moment in the history of the human being and still opening up to possible future scenarios of hope and love.

Taking this opportunity to wish everyone a good weekend, we would like also to wish Papa Francesco a good and speedy recovery.
