I remember it was a long day that started before sunrise, when I took the first flight to Milan. Finally, in the late afternoon, I was again at Linate airport and, as I often do when I am there, while waiting for my flight to Brindisi, I headed for a look at the bookshop along the way to the gate. Although it’s a small bookshop, it’s very well stocked. My attention was kept by several titles and themes and, since I still had about a couple of hours before the embarque, I started reading few lines from each book I chose, jumping from a plot to another. In the end, my interest turned for this title “I bambini di Himmler” (La Pouponnière d’Himmler), written by Caroline de Mulder. I was to buy it, but I didn’t. The call I received from someone too dearest to me made me forget about that book until now. Looking among my pictures, I realized I immortalized and saved that precious moment forever. Now, after months, I think time has come to have a read of that book.
