On tiptoe, the first Sunday of Advent arrived. Early, in the morning, the first small candle lights up in the kitchen to cheer the first warm cup of coffee of the day. Fragrant gingerbread biscuits are baked and are in the tray to welcome members of family and friends. Later on, Christmas decorations will take place in special corners of home to give that particular warm cosy feeling we love and enjoy to set at Christmas time.

A very special thought this year goes to the people in Ukraine and to all those involved in the war. The great wish is that everyone may finally return to live in the spirit of freedom, peace and fraternal love.
