March just arrived and brought the promise of an incipient Spring. Indeed, during this weekend, we welcomed with enthusiasm milder temperatures and the first gardening activities in the green terrace. Day after day, the little daisies are dressing in their most beautiful colors, trasforming the flowerbeds into soft natural carpets. Last week, we took the opportunity to visit a greenhouse and chose some new daisy plants to add to those from previous years. The color that immediately struck the sight in a particular way were the shades of pink you can see in the pictures. Lovely, aren't they? Pink is a lively, cheerful color and you have got the feeling it transmits energy. What do you think?

The weekend was also the right time to make, bake and serve good fragrant fluffy homemade bread and some kanelbullar. The fragrance of freshly baked bread and butter softened with cinnamon were deliciously mixed throughout the house.

This morning, it was great weather and a beautiful golden light while, in the green terrace, we prepared soil and pots for the new pink daisies and red geraniums. Soon, these plants will have more shoots and flowers, brightening up every balcony and reminding us that nature awakens and life begins again.

By the way, should we say that the best moments, while gardening, were when we enjoyed a creamy cappuccino and a soft buttery cinnamon roll? Indeed it was the first coffee pause of the season in the green terrace and many more will follow.
