The honeysuckle is a beautiful climbing plant we planted in the garden of our sea house many years ago, back in the 1970s. Every year, at this time of the year, it blooms generously, giving us delicate yellow and white flowers with an intense, fresh, lemony scent. For us it is the sign that Summer is here.
Indeed, over the last week, temperatures reached 30°C and even more. The beach, along the Ionian coast and just few steps away from our sea house, began to welcome those, who were looking for spending a few hours enjoying the sun. And.. how about going for a swim and then having a picnic at the beach?
Besides, at the end of this last week, at the sea house, we also had great time welcoming a lovely couple coming from Switzerland and running a cooking class and a gourmet experience for them.
