It was an extraordinary surprise this morning. Myriads of tiny twinkling drops of dew on the long thin freesia leaves in the large vases of the terrace were announcing the beginning of the new year, on this January 1st 2023. A new season will be coming and, soon, it will be an exultation of blooms of freesias with a delicate scent. Everywhere, nature was sparkling and shining of the light of the new day, even the small tulip buds finally began to peep out of the soft soil.
